The 2015 Saint-Aubin En Remilly 1er Cru has an exotic bouquet for this vineyard, featuring dried mango, hints of lychee and light passion fruit aromas. It is not unattractive but lacks terroir expression. The palate is fresh and spicy on the entry, displaying a fine bead of lively acidity and demonstrating impressive depth. There is more activity and personality in the mouth than on the nose, and the finish fans out with hints of orange peel and a touch of sour lemon. This is an En Remilly that you end up liking more and more with acquaintance. Tasted blind at the annual Burgfest tasting. (DIAM 10 closure)
